Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :

Arrive Cochin – Munnar

Arrive at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station, proceed to Munnar. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight at
the hotel in Munnar.

Day 2 :

Munnar – Full Day City Sightseeing

Today morning after breakfast, proceed for full day city sightseeing. Visit Mattupatty
Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation, Rajamalai, Ervikulam National Park. In the evening
return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Munnar. (Breakfast)

Day 3 :

Munnar – Thekkady

Today morning after breakfast, proceed to Periyar (Thekkady). On arrival check-in at
the hotel. Later in the afternoon proceed to Wildlife Sanctuary, you can also do boat
ride (On your Own). In the evening go for Spice Shopping. Return back to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel in Thekkady. (Breakfast)

Day 4 :

Thekkady – Half Day Sightseeing

Today morning after breakfast, proceed for half day sightseeing. Visit spice
plantation, you can also do spice shopping and Elephant ride (On your own). Return
back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Thekkady. (Breakfast)

Day 5 :

Thekkady – Alleppey/ Kumarakom

Today early morning after breakfast, proceed to Alleppey/ Kumarakom. On arrival
check-in at the hotel/ resort. Rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening you can do
backwater ride in the lush green village of Kerala (On your Own). Overnight at the
hotel in Alleppey/ Kumarakom. (Breakfast)

Day 6 :

Alleppey/ Kumarakom – Depart Cochin

Today morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Cochin Airport/ Railway
Station to board your flight / train back home or to your next destination. (Breakfast)

How fit do I need to be to do this trek?

A good base fitness level is recommended. You should be comfortable with moderate hiking distances and some steeper sections. Regularly going for hikes or participating in cardio activities beforehand will help prepare you for the trek.

How much do guides and porters cost?

Do I need travel insurance?

Travel insurance is not included but highly recommended. It’s important to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances like trip cancellations or medical emergencies.

What kind of clothing should I pack?
